I don’t usually get excited about supplements or quick fixes.
In fact, I’ve been dealing with brain fog for 2 years now. I’d walk into a room and forget why I was there.
I’d lose my train of thought in the middle of conversations.
I’d forget conversations my husband and I had a few days ago.
I’d forget people’s names.
Some days it felt like my brain was working against me.
9 weeks ago I started something different, and started to track my brain fog incidences.
I counted every time I had one of those “brain fog moments.”
The first week? 11 episodes.
Then I made one simple change.
Just three weeks later, I was down to only 2 episodes.
I honestly wasn’t expecting that kind of improvement.
Now, I can’t say with certainty that this will work for everyone, but the difference for me has been significant enough that I wanted to share what I did.
Wanna know what I did?
I started doing Sprint Interval Training 2-3x a week. And the best thing about Sprint Intervals, is that it only takes 10-12minutes.
Here’s how to do it:
- Pick an exercise such as: stationary bike, burpees, jump squats, lunge jumps, rowing machine, sprint running, treadmill, ball slams, battle ropes, box jumps …you get the idea.
- Now do that exercise as fast as you can for 20–30 seconds.
- Then rest for 2 minutes
- Repeat 3-4 more times.
That’s it!
You can add this at the end of your strength training workout, or do it on it’s own.
If you’re ready to add Sprint Intervals to your workout to make your brain fog disapear. Check out the Sprint Interval Workouts in my YouTube playlist here.
If you’re in perimenopause or menopause and you’ve been struggling with brain fog, keep following along with me on this journey.
